Blog · Google

Your Google listing is often the first thing a hungry person sees. Here is where we start: the basics, the photos, the reviews, and the duplicates.

Before someone looks at your Instagram or your website, they see your hours, your photos, your rating, and whatever the last few reviews said. Here's where we start when we take over a listing.

Get the basics right

Hours, address, phone number, and the menu link. If any of them are wrong, people find out when they're standing at a locked door. Check your holiday hours too, since Google shows them separately.

Replace the photos other people took for you

If you haven't added photos, Google fills the listing with whatever customers uploaded. Add your own dish, interior, and storefront photos so the first image someone sees is one you'd choose.

Fifteen pages covering what to post, what to spend, and what to track with a content calendar and ideas for you to post with.

Answer the reviews

Reply to reviews the same week they come in, the good ones and the bad ones. Keep it short and specific. People reading your reviews are also reading how you respond.

Watch for duplicates

Listings get duplicated, and sometimes someone else claims yours. If you see a second listing or lose access, that's a dispute you can file with Google. It takes patience, and it's worth recovering.

None of this takes long once it's set up. The hard part is keeping it current, which is the part we handle.
